Sales and Marketing Executive

 A wonderful opportunity exists for a talented, driven sales person to join Northern Ireland’s fastest growing training company.  We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic office based sales-person to join us at our new office on Lisburn Road, Belfast and fit quickly into our dynamic and progressive sales and marketing team.

You will be completely focused on developing new and existing business with our existing 800+ strong client base throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland and you will play in integral role in our launch across the rest of the UK market in the second half of 2007.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a big part in the success of a small rapidly growing business. You will be ably supported by an outstanding track record of client satisfaction, a team of Management Skills Trainers amongst the best in the business and a corporate ethos dedicated to excellence and achievement. 

The role brings with it a number of challenging targets and success will be rewarded accordingly.

DUTIES

  1. Maintain high levels of telephone contact with existing clients
  2. Generate greater sales from established key accounts
  3. Develop new business opportunities for existing clients
  4. Identify opportunities and setup sales visits
  5. Respond quickly and efficiently to enquiries
  6. Draft proposals
  7. Close sales and shorten lead pipeline
  8. Work with existing team members to develop UK Database of contacts
  9. Use lead sources to develop new business
  10. Develop new lead sources

QUALITIES

  1. Ambitious and energetic
  2. Low maintenance
  3. Ability to plan and work to both short and long term targets equally well
  4. Must be able to remain focused whilst unsupervised
  5. Intelligence combined with an equal measure of common-sense
  6. You should possess an ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet and respond to customers needs appropriately
  7. Must enjoy verbally communicating with all customers
  8. Should not be afraid of cold-calling

EXPERIENCE
You should possess:

  • 1. A minimum of four GCSE’s including English
  • 2. Excellent communication skills
    • 3. A minimum of two years sales experience selling or marketing services or products over the telephone.
    4. A proven and demonstrable track-record in Sales
  • 5. Clean current driving licence.
  • 6. As a minimum, a good understanding of the Northern Ireland business sector.
  • 7. Experience of training services - either as an attendee or of the training marketing in general
  • 8. Good literacy and numeracy sklls
  • 9. Sound working knowledge of the MS Office Suite including E-Mail packages
