Course Objectives:
Under the new fire regulations, employers, property owners, landlords and other duty holders are required to assess fire risks in the workplace and implement appropriate fire safety precautions including raising the alarm and evacuating the premises.

Well trained and competent staff are the best defence against the threat of fire and the most effective way of managing alarm incidents and evacuation of your premises. This practical seminar workshop will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of fire safety issues and prepare them to confidently conduct fire risk assessments in their own workplace.

Contents:
This one-day workshop includes a full update on the new fire safety regulations effective from 1 October 2006. Fire Certificates will no longer be issued and Fire Authorities will look to employers to demonstrate their compliance with the regulations and sound management of Fire Safety in the workplace.
