Course Objectives:
This ONE-DAY course is designed to be given in-house or as a public course. It is composed of a series of tutorials interspersed with workshops covering several of the most significant occupational health and safety management system issues. The course provides individuals with an introduction to:
- the general requirements of HS&S systems, with specific reference to BS OHSAS 18001:2007;
- risk assessments and evaluation of legislative compliance;
- establishing objectives and monitoring improvements;

Anyone who is responsible for managing the Health & Safety within their workplace or is considering implementing a formal Health & Safety Management framework within their work.

Trainers background:
The trainer for this programme has extensive international experience in designing, implementing and auditing various different forms of management systems, including Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and Risk Management. Prior to working with Cosensa, they spent many years in an advisory capacity to the British Standards Institute.
