Fire Safety & Risk Assessment - The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Course Objectives
Under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, employers, property owners, landlords and other duty holders are required to assess fire risks in the workplace and implement appropriate fire safety precautions including raising the alarm and evacuating the premises. The aim is to simplify, rationalise and consolidate existing fire safety legislation. It will provide for a risk-based approach to fire safety allowing more efficient effective enforcement by the fire and rescue service.
Well trained and competent staff are the best defence against the threat of fire and the most effective way of managing alarm incidents and evacuation of your premises. This seminar workshop will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of fire safety issues and prepare them to confidently conduct fire risk assessments in their own workplace. This course includes a practical interpretation of the new fire safety guidelines effective in England since October 2006.
