Course Objectives
The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) place duties on employers and the self-employed to protect employees, contractors and others from the risks from fires and explosions related to dangerous substances stored and used in the workplace.
This shot half-day course explains the duties that DSEAR places on employers and the actions they need to take to comply with them.

This course is ideally suited for Managers and supervisors of process plant and operations, where dangerous substances are used or stored. They need to understand how to manage the risks from dangerous substances within the framework of the DSEA Regulations.

The trainer for this course has extensive experience in design and delivery of health & safety training programmes. They are qualified by NEBOSH (National Examination Board for Occupational Safety & Health) and Associate member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety & Health) and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and the Association for Project Safety.
