Preparing an Induction
Course Objectives
Induction training is absolutely vital for new employees. Good induction training can ensure your new employees are retained and are able to settle in quickly and happily to a productive role. Induction training is as much about training in specific skills as it is about the basics seasoned employees take for granted: what the shifts are; where the notice-board is; what's the routine for holidays, sickness; what's the dress code etc.
New employees need to quickly embrace the organisation's mission, goals and philosophy; personnel practices, health and safety rules, and of course the job they're required to do, with clear methods, timescales and expectations. This course is designed to help delegates design a suitable and efficient induction programme for their own working environment.
