Recruitment Interviewing Skills incorporating N.I. Legislation

By the end of this course delegates will have the skills to:

• Be knowledge on current legislation and equality guidelines in relation to recruitment
• Understand criterion-based selection
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the panel chairperson and panel members
• Have a checklist of preparatory actions to take before any recruitment interviews
• Be able to structure a recruitment interview and use confident interview skills
• Have an opportunity to practise skills in a ‘safe’ environment

This programme is ideal for: anyone working in Northern Ireland that is, or will be, responsible for conducting recruitment interviews

Introduction

Participants in this Interviewing Skills workshop will gain an understanding of Best Practice techniques for successful candidate management during the interview process.
