By the end of this course delegates will have the skills to:
- Create rapport and empathy with someone in distress
- Gain insight into the persons' feelings, experience and behaviour
- Act in a supportive way to him or her
This programme is ideal for managers, supervisors, personnel staff and people who work with client groups in need of support.
The course is not intended to make delegates full-time counsellors, rather it's aim is to help them acquire some learnable and practical skills for workplace counselling.
