- Problem solving and decision-making techniques

- Importance of taking responsibility & ownership for decisions & actions
- Delegating tasks & knowing other’s roles – Internal/External.
Day 3: Developing High Performing Teams
- Discuss what a team is and why we need them
- Explore different models for team performance
- Appreciate team inter-dependency
- Understand what makes teams dysfunctional/effective
- Learn how to establish a cohesive team
- Managing change effectively
- How to overcome conflict
By the end of this course, delegates will have the skills to:

Formal training in Essential Leadership and Management skills would be an advantage but is not strictly necessary.

Delegates will benefit greatly from the highly interactive nature of this training course. The theory behind effective leadership is put to the test immediately in a simulated environment through a variety of practical individual and team-based exercises.
The programme deals with people management issues with clear guidelines every step of the way. Tutorial sessions, case studies, and a practical work-based practical application task ensures that skills learned are applied immediately from commencement of training.
