By the end of this course delegates will have the skills to:
- Have a greater awareness and understanding of what constitutes bullying, its effects on the individual and the organisation, and the health and safety implications
- Increase their knowledge of the relevant legislation as it applies to bullying, and their management responsibilities within their organisations policy and code of practice
- Know how to handle bullying informally and formally
- Understand the impact of their own behaviour on others, and set standards of behaviour for their teams
- Develop personal and team action plans which will help create a positive work environment
This programme is ideal for anyone who wishes to be able to identify and where necessary be able to deal appropriately with bullying and or harassment in the workplace.
This course is ideally suited to enable participants to recognise symptoms of bullying and/or harassment in the early stages and deal with them promptly and effectively.
Delegates are encouraged to bring along current policies if in place.
